Call Summary Contemporary at Blue Star is pleased to announce the return of the Novel Ideas Art Book Fair. This is a one-night art book fair will feature artists’ books, monographs, zines, printed ephemera, and more. The fair is as a platform for artists and publishers to share and sell their work and build community with one another. The fair will happen in the Contemporary's gallery spaces at 116 Blue Star, San Antonio, TX 78218 on May 5, 2023, 5pm-9pm. |

Budget Description 30-40 Exhibitors will be selected for participation in NIABF 2023. There is no exhibitor fee. |
||
Project Description Participating exhibitors will be given a table, chairs, and table covering to set up their publications and printed materials for the fair. Each exhibitor will interact with public and share and if desired sell their project as well. The event takes place from 5pm-9pm and exhibitors will have time to set up in advance of the event. |

Eligibility Artists and publishers producing artists’ books, monographs, zines, printed ephemera, and more. University students are encourage to apply through their department as a group, in collaboration with faculty artists/publishers. See 2020 exhibitor list for more details. |

Artists are allowed to apply in teams.
